Our first ever pub stop over, what a choice, thatched roof and built in 1366.

Spent the early afternoon in Lincoln, was very surprised how nice and busy it was given a Sunday.

Got into the area late morning and parked up at the P&R for Whitby and managed to get the dog on the bus into town. It was basically as expected in what had been a busy fishing port, now mostly cruising yachts but still some working boats with fish & chips everywhere along with the seagulls. The walk out along the pier was nice and there were some nice small bitty shops but the Main Street was chains as expected and several scruffy coffee shops.

Great find near Morpeth with 5 pitches around a small fishing pond. Water, waster and rubbish disposal for £15. As well as fishing there seems to be a donkey sanctuary in one field.

Cleo a bit spooked as there have been several very low flying planes (looked like replica WWII), hopefully she will settle. Not the best place to walk her from as mostly a path alongside what can be a busy road.

Arrived about 2pm and set up the awning for the first time this year. No big fights and seemed to remember how to do it. The site is opposite a wild life park and there were odd animal sounds of according to one review Lions calling each other??

Just 1 night on our way South for Carfest that Denise organised for my 70th.

Site is very wooded with about 140 pitches spread across it. Does not feel it as they are in small openings in the wood with maybe 4-10 vans each so feels small.

Small pub The Anglers Arm recently taken over nearby. In need of some TLC but pub food was good, just look beyond the damp walls with wall.paper falling off in hallway.

Just north of North Berwick, about 4km by paths into the centre. Down by the beach car park.

Good sized site but laid out in small sections. Shower block very tidy and reception sells Ice cream!!

Site was basically hard standing next to train line. Toilet stank, water was a garden hose, Not likely to return, but to fair served its job.

Collected our new VW T.6.1 CamperKing MonteCarlo from Barry at CamperKing Scotland.

Really pleased with the way our colour choices worked out and the van drives really well.
