Troutbeck Head Caravan and Camping Club
Arrived about 2:30 after wet drive up from Julie and Mikes, typical what you expect in the Lakes overcast and showers. Think it’s an afternoon of reading and snacking as weather not very encouraging to head out.
The site is very quiet, big kids play area and probably 60 pitches or so. Site is site up on 2 levels with 2 toilet blocks, that have recently been refurbished. There is even a games room with pool and games to borrow along with seating.
Set up in pitch 53 on the lower part of site by the stream and near path to toilets. Lots of horses in the field opposite who seemed to walk with the sun, we’ll assume that is what the noise was.
Dog walks straight from the site into the woods above, would definitely stay again.
